“No, no… He…he is not…” Xiao Zhan’s voice is getting lower as he speaks. His face is as red as a tomato and he ends up concealing his face behind his hands.
Noting the only Omega’s reaction, the doctor shoots a pity glance at Yibo. Then he fists his hand in the form of encouragement, mouthing ‘Jiāyóu’ silently.
Yibo just nods.
Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo are childhood friends. They grew up together and they’re currently attending the same school. Wang Yibo, an Alpha, always looks for the solution to marry his beloved Xiao Zhan. As for Xiao Zhan, known for a Beta in his entire life, is completely oblivious of his childhood friend’s feelings towards him.
One day, Xiao Zhan goes into a heat, and Wang Yibo, unable to see his friend in so much pain, has no other option but to help him relieve his pain (he wouldn’t complain about that at all, to be honest). Their parents suggest the two men to become mates, but Xiao Zhan disagrees to that. He wants Wang Yibo to be happy with his own choice of partner, and he knows that his childhood friend is only taking care of him because they are, simply, good friends.
