Summary
Albus Dumbledore dies by wearing the ring one too many times. At seeing Tom RIddle forming in front of him Albus is helpless, shrivelled and almost dead and once the blood returns to his veins he threatens that Harry Potter will die.
In the past couple of days he reads up on the golden trio and Hermione is instantly in his thoughts, upon meeting her he decides she must be under his sway; after all, what is a great man without a great woman to bend to his will?

It was the only class Tom was in that was this quiet; no murmurs of students talking to others at their table, no exclamations when reading the assignment, no questions. The layers of Silencing Charms to keep the sounds of dozens of students typing at once from disturbing others in the library created a peculiar feeling of suspension - a sense that talking or other noise would disturb something.
