It wasn't exactly anything new that Zayn was touchy feely with her; they cuddled, hugged and Zayn pressed small kisses to her cheek or temple on occasion (a gesture, which Liam couldn't find in herself to return, but which brought a smile to her lips and heat to her cheeks). And she liked feeling along Liam's new shirts or jeans, that wasn't new.
The fingers feeling softly along the logo of her knickers were pushing new boundaries though, Liam thought. She tried not to look out of breath as a sharp want ran through her, cutting at her will and restraints. Moving a little lower, the touch fell short from where she felt a light throb, her thrill coming down to rest there.
"Yeah, you're fit", Zayn said softly. She had her eyes down, where her own fingers moved. Along the edge of the logo, down to where it stopped, and fuck, that was close...

It was just a harmless bet. She didn't even mean it, really.
Louis' mouth has always gotten her into trouble. When she was little, her mum would get calls home from school because Louis couldn't shutup during class. Once, she nearly gotten into a fight with a guy at a bar because he wouldn't leave Harry alone, and she'd looked at him, eyes piercing, and said shortly, "Do me a favor, fucker? Get off my fucking girlfriend." She'd even had a few twitter fights because she just couldn't hold her tongue. In retrospect, her tongue was kinda the whole reason for her current predicament, in more ways than one. It really wasn't her fault.

Harry had stared in awe, eyes wide as she looked up at Louis who was still hovering in front of her. Louis had stared back for a moment, and Harry remembers wanting to memorize the color of her eyes, the exact shade of blue, just in case they never got to interact again. It feels a bit like every cliché Harry has read in the Muggle books she grew up to, from the lighthearted fairytales Anne told her at nights to the Young Adult novels she snuck from Gemma’s shelf at the age of eleven. Seconds stretching into minutes, the rest of the world screeching to a pause, as though she’s under a spell.
Which, now that she thinks about it, isn’t too far off. Magic is real, after all.
And then Louis had winked at her, breaking the spell and setting everything back into motion, before flying off and leaving Harry flushed and just a little breathless.
(harry is a fifth year ravenclaw dating the seventh year captain of the slytherin quidditch team. it's the final match of the year.)

She’s so gone it’s not even funny. It really isn’t funny because falling in love with your best friend is such a stupid, idiotic, dumb thing to do, and there’s only ever a happy ending in romantic comedies. Louis (she claims, loudly and publicly whenever anyone will listen despite the fact that she’ll watch them with Harry any time Harry asks her to) hates romantic comedies.
