Jean took them in his own and kissed the back of each one before stretching Kevin’s arms up, up, up, until they touched the cold metal of the headboard. Jean squeezed Kevin’s hands once before letting go. “Hold on until one of us tells you to let go. Can you do that for me?”
“Uh huh,” Kevin nodded, closing his fingers around the bars above his head. He was fully exposed like this, arms outstretched above him, Jean nestled between his legs, and his expression said there was no place on earth he’d rather be. Jean raised an eyebrow at him, waiting. “Yes, Jean.” Kevin corrected himself.
“Good boy.” Jean said, and that was it. That was the last straw. Kevin was gone.
