Summary
The Queen did not leave a manual on how to care for a fallen angel when she left, so he waited patiently as he could for his King to rise again. His music and whispered confessions paved a path for the King to leave the darkness. In the daylight and the fall of dusk, words are spoken with reverence and gentleness between a King and his Executioner.

Summary
He should be mortified about what's happening, and what he has allowed to happen every once in a while. He should be disgusted, should use his holy light to push off the demon that soils his body the way he does— but he doesn't. He just lays there, squirming every once in a while at a sharper pain, writhing only when he allows himself to panic over choking on his own blood like he could actually die from it.
It's a wretched sight, and yet he feels whole for the first time in millennia as the pain settles, and as his executioner and savior alike takes and takes and takes.

Summary
Michael didn’t tense, but it was a damn near thing. Instead, his blue eyes narrowed in skepticism, now sweeping over the cables and computers with newfound interest.
“Are you in danger?” he asked in disbelief, like the idea itself was absurd to him. In a way, it was.
Lucifer sighed. “I dunno.”
