Summary
There is a very famous story about Gellert Grindelwald, madman who almost ended wizarding society as we know it and brought about a horrifically bloody revolution, but this is not that story. History is written by the victors, and things are never quite what they seem.
This is a story about a young man who could see how broken the world around him was, and thought he could change things for the better. This is a story about a revolutionary who rose to dizzying hights of power and attempted to forge a brilliant future with an army at his back. This is a story about a man who went to war, and in war there are no heroes or villains, only those who win and those who lose.
OLD VERSION: UNFINISHED AND ABANDONED. TO BE RE-WRITTEN. (Feel free to read this but it'll be better if you wait for my new version)

Summary
There is a very famous story about Gellert Grindelwald, the genius dark wizard who brought the wizarding world to its knees before being defeated by his old friend Albus Dumbledore, but this is not that story.
This is the story of what came before, the story of how an innocent child with a burning curiosity about the world became a talented visionary who tried to lead his people into a new future.
This is the story of a powerful child, alone in his brilliance, who couldn't see where his road would lead him, paved with good intentions as it was, and above all, this is a story about love.Series
