Summary
A re-imagining of season 4 of Stranger Things. It will tread over familiar territory but I try to add some juicy internal dialogues along the way. Eddie and Chrissy connect and Eddie saves her life. You know why you're here.
Eddie Munson stayed in his lane. He barely passed his classes, he ran Dungeons and Dragons for his friends, and he sold drugs to anyone with the cash. Was it the moral thing to do? No, but that didn't matter. Get enough cash to get out of Hawkins as soon as he got his diploma. It's either that or die in this place.
Chrissy Cunningham was perfect. To anyone who looked at her. They never got close enough to see the cracks. She felt like everything was starting to unravel. She needed a lifeline before she drowned.

What if Chrissy wasn’t killed by Vecna in Eddie’s trailer that night? Would 86 really end up being their year?
This is the story of Eddie and Chrissy battling against all the odds to try and save one another from the events of the 4th season.
How would things play out differently for Hawkins town and their story if they were both alive to try and help the others fight Vecna?
Now that fate has given him a little more time with Chrissy can Eddie finally do something about his feelings for the girl he has been crushing on since middle school?

Jason had spent the last three days researching open marriages. He'd looked into a ton of online forums and searched up success stories (and maybe also looked up the difference between open marriages and polygamy). He put together a pretty cohesive argument to present to Chrissy, then sat her down after she'd finished cleaning up dinner to have the conversation.
Just to gauge her interest.
The problem? She wasn't getting it.

He may have died, but there would never be another Chrissy Cunningham looking down on him from the ceiling of his uncle’s trailer. And, as he closed his eyes for the last time, he was not haunted by her eyeless sockets and silently screaming jaw, as he had been every time he blinked since the day he watched her die.
