Jon knew for a certainty that Arya would enjoy all of this tremendously. But he also knew that, if anyone found out he was hiding and feeding a runaway (and he still wasn't entirely convinced Ygritte hadn't broken some law somewhere) he would get into a lot more trouble than Arya had for the library incident last year.
