At this point J had stopped typing and his attention was now on her, sitting in the chair, clutching her wounded hand. The room was still dark, still motionless, so while she couldn’t see him that well, his face was very obviously contorted in a confused fashion. His seconds of squinting to readjust his eyes and focus on her was followed by a gruff clearing of his throat and a tired “What?”
“I cut my fucking hand open.” She groaned again, but in her own way she managed to also laugh and cry a little bit on top of it. -

You and Schlatt did NOT get along. Working for a fortune 500 company wasn’t your dream job, but it was most definitely his. He had this smarmy charm about him that made him ridiculously good at sales, much to your chagrin, and you two were the top salespeople this quarter. This news quickly spread around to your corporate higher-ups, leading you two to be shipped off to a sales conference in Silicon Valley. The last thing you wanted to do for your weekend was spend every waking moment with your coworker that ground your gears, but the company wouldn’t take no for an answer, so now you were on a plane, next to said agonizing coworker, settling in for the 7 hour flight from New York.
TLDR: stuck on a business trip with a coworker you have always butted heads with the hotel room is messed up and only has one bed oh my whatever shall they do
