Summary
Hux's never believed in the First Order and he became a spy for the Republic at a young age. He's never revealed his identity though and only waited to kill his father before he ran away and now lives as a smuggler. By chance, he encounters Ren, who is now Supreme Leader and the only thing that keeps him away from taking over the galaxy is the Resistance. Ren finds out that Hux is Force-sensitive and decides that he will anything just to get him on his side to win this war.

Summary
Hux’s plans for ridding the First Order of Kylo Ren are ruined when Ren discovers his deception. With no choice but to flee, Hux ends up in the hands of the Resistance. It’s not ideal, but at least he gets a break from Ren. Until he doesn’t.
When Ren starts appearing in Hux’s dreams, Hux wonders if the stress of being a spy has taken more of a toll on his sanity than he’d previously thought. And if that wasn’t bad enough, he has to deal with constant pestering from Poe and a mildly inconvenient kidnapping. Of course, it’s Ren who saves him in the end.
