“Megumi, you are the biggest homosexual to have ever walked this earth. Next objection, please.”
“Gojo’s annoying.”
“So are you.”
“He’s got no brain.”
“False information.”
“He’s always laughing in a super irritating way.”
“And you’re always super apathetic. Same thing, different fonts.”
“How is that the same thing-“
“Point is,” Nobara interrupted, “You do have similarities. Ever heard of nature vs. nurture?”
“No.”

Summary
“I don’t like yellow,” Nanami argued. “Too loud.”
Megumi stared meaningfully at his hair. “Suuure you don’t.”
“I don’t,” Nanami insisted, trying not to lift a hand to cover his hair. “And yellow wouldn’t fit with my colour scheme, anyway.”
Megumi hummed. “Blue, then. You like blue,” he added, nodding to Nanami’s shirt. “Do you know blue is the most common favourite colour?”
Nanami ignored the jab – it was good to be ordinary, thank you very much – and put a pink flower decisively in his basket. “Pink.”
“Very 2006,” Megumi nodded. “I see what you’re going for.”
“I’m not ‘going for’ anything. It’s just the best flower.”
“So it’s nothing, huh? The pink flowers, the loud patterns-“
“You spend too much time with Gojo,” Nanami told him, swapping his flower for a yellow one.

"Yeah, yeah," Gojo waved, "Megumi's way more fun to mess with though."
"You do seem to do that a lot," Nobara mused. "It's like you enjoy making him so mad he punches you."
"That was once," Fushiguro pointed out.
"Yeah, and?"
"Alright, settle down," Gojo interrupted. "Megumi has been easy to annoy for as long as I've known him, it's too good to pass up."
"It's not like you've known him for a long time, though," Yuji mused, "He's only 15." Even if Fushiguro had been at school before Yuji, it couldn't have been longer than a few weeks.
"It feels like forever," Fushiguro groaned. He put his head down on the table; Gojo reached across to stroke his hair. Fushiguro slapped his hand.
Maybe Yuji had been too fast to call favouritism. If he was Gojo, he would spend his time annoying Fushiguro too.
Gojo's shit-eating grin had faded into a soft smile as Fushiguro scowled at him from across the table. "I bought you mochi," he offered. He held up a bag, separate from the mix-and-match bundle he'd brought for the rest of the school to share.
Then again, maybe Yuji had been spot on.

Megumi shrugged. “I’m tired. I’m going to bed.”
“Not so fast,” Gojo called, grabbing his arm as Megumi tried to walk past him. “It’s movie night.”
“I don’t like movies,” Megumi lied.
“Aw, that’s a shame,” Gojo sighed. He didn’t loosen his grip on Megumi’s arm. “Guess you’ll be miserable then.”
“Already am,” Megumi informed him. Gojo snickered and dragged Megumi along as they began to make their way to his apartment.
“You don’t get a choice here, ‘Gumi. It’s movie or nothing.”
“And I can’t have nothing?”
“Hey, you catch on quick. Only took you ten years!”
