Summary
Jiang Cheng has never been his parents pride and joy. The honorary place in the family company would always belong to Wei Wuxian, and he was ok with that. He didn't want it anyway.
Four years after being cast out by his father, Jiang Cheng struggles to make ends meet at his dream job. His sketchy-at-best apartment is a far cry from the lavish lifestyle he used to have, but he wouldn't want it any other way. The only problem is the deep and empty lonliness that comes from losing his family. But surely his siblings don't miss him? There's no chance to reconcile what was lost... Right?

Jiang Cheng was known by many names. Perhaps the most fitting was Sandu Shengshou in reference to the root of all evils. After all, he only seemed to be a burden on those around him. And so, he decided to make peace with what he had and leave before he could hurt anyone else.

A huge claw.
There was - were huge claws on one side of him. The trembling bunny turned his head to check the other side. Yes, claws there too, attached to huge black paws.
His eyes followed the powerful dark legs on his sides, to meet with silver eyes high up above the bunny. A panther was staring down at Xichen, his mouth slightly open and showing his fangs.
Ah. That was it. Xichen’s poor heart could no longer take it.
The bunny let out a pained grunt and blacked out.
