TW: The suicidal ideation is very very implied, but it is there, so be aware.
Can be read stand-alone, but certain references will make more sense when read as part of the entire series.
This is self-indulgent on my part, because I wish we'd had even a glimpse of the rest of the '86 crew in Top Gun: Maverick.Epilogue containing the family reunion added by request. Thanks, y'all!
