Summary
This essay roams all over Thirteen’s era as well as Fourteen and what we have of Fifteen so far, as well as looking at the Master, the Time War, the Flux, Gallifrey and Earth. But, we think we have created a solid understanding of what The Timeless Child means for the Doctor and the show, and how it all hangs together. And it’s pretty neat!
Or: "Look after the universe for me. I've put a lot of work into it."

Summary
Notes/commentary on promethia_tenk's Bring it Home (Sugar Daddy) vid, and is, essentially, a look inside our brains (Owls' (ileolai), Promethia's and mine) by going through the vid (almost) clip by clip. (I was lucky enough to beta/cheerlead as this vid was created, hence the insights - and then I just carried on.) So if you are interested in what it’s saying, and why, and looking at what’s going on below the surface, this is the post for you! With insights into the vidder’s thoughts, much, MUCH meta, and a great deal of self-indulgent asides by yours truly. I mean, the vid is self-indulgent, so the Notes should be too. It only follows logically.
Plus there is an additional bit of meta end, dealing with Crowley, Heaven & hell, and (serendipitously) tying in to another vid. ☺ Warning: If you are not an emotional wreck by the end, I have failed.

Summary
Meta on... oh goodness, everything. River Song and her role in the Doctor's life and how the Doctor grew and changed through S5 and S6 and all the imagery and all the mirrors and all the layers and the beauty of it all and dear god, the shipping. This is concentrated Doctor/River, but with all the meta.
Originally posted on LJ on 6 October 2011 so some parts are outdated, but I like to keep it as it was then. ♥

Summary
More meta from the Meta café. This time from 2012. This is basically THE Tenth Doctor meta I always wanted to write and never knew how. (Should have suspected it'd all come down to Eliot...)
The idea for this first came to me after watching The Lazarus Experiment wherein the Doctor and Lazarus quote 'The Hollow Men' by T. S. Eliot. I sat down to read it, and was completely and utterly blown away. This was the result, because that poem is the Tenth Doctor. (To create this I ended up reading Heart of Darkness and Dante and sort-of taught myself how to use a proper graphics programme. All in all it was 7-8 months between idea and final result.)
So without further ado I shall let you see for yourselves. Lengthy meta-heavy notes at the end explaining all my choices/thoughts.

Summary
I thought I would bring my meta (/poetry) café across to AO3!
My meta is always very image heavy, and this time it's also rather esoteric, as The Waste Land is not most people's cup of tea. However please don't let that put you off, it's also very beautiful.
Structurally, I start with the poem/imagery, which will then be followed by lengthy and in-depth notes. No really, this is enormous. (I will also write a more regular meta post later, with all the stuff that does not fit into this very specific reading.) Also, although this meta mostly centers on The Doctor Falls, it meanders through a lot of S10, and even further back.
But first, here is the second half of the fifth and final part of T.S. Eliot's The Waste Land, as filtered through Moffat Who. I hope you enjoy.
