Soulmates were a funny thing. Not everyone had one, and there were multiple ways to tell if you did have one.
Some people had marks that would change and bloom when they met their soulmates, others had the ability to write on their skin and have it appear on their soulmates body, and some had a little pixie creature who would look like their soulmate and be a constant companion until they met their soulmate.
