Summary
Dean Winchester is on top of the world.
He's a successful artist, he's got fame and money, but he feels soulless, unworthy, empty.
His unhealthy coping mechanisms lead him down a path of drinking and whoring that threatens to damage his career, until his best friend/ manager, Charlie, comes up with an idea to get him back on the press's good side. She recruits her college friend, Castiel, who's job and personal passion is volunteer work.
Dean will help raise money for charity projects and gain back his good-boy image while Castiel benefits from his popularity.
But Castiel isn't so easily impressed by the superstar... he cares more about doing good in the world, caring for others, and using his heart as a moral compass.
Dean's luxurious, seemingly carefree and indulgent life doesn't exactly fit that frame.
It definitely doesn't help that Castiel is also the most beautiful man Dean's ever laid eyes on.Their path towards getting to know each other and bridging over their differences is a rocky one and at times frustrating, but in the end, "Your worth consists of what you are, and not what you have".

Summary
Dean Smith has a problem. As the publicist for Hollywood bad boy Castiel Novak, it’s Dean’s job to keep Cas in the news. So far, the actor’s done a damn good job himself - partying, drinking (hell, activities the office has had to pay people off to keep their mouths shut about) and his public escapades have made it easy. But Castiel has a secret, and when that secret is revealed in the most spectacularly disastrous way, no amount of money will cover-up this bombshell. So it’s up to the publicity team to spin it.
They decide the best course of action is to distract from the scandal and make the public fall in love—with Castiel’s secret committed relationship. The one that doesn’t exist. Yet.
The team wants someone they can trust. Someone in the inner circle. That someone is Dean, who’s always had a stupid, secret crush on their client. But what will happen when Dean realizes that for him, the romance is no longer pretend? Can Cas love him back, or is he just playing a role?
