Summary
Diana Calavera hates hospitals. Nothing really happens to change that.

Diana Calavera has never had a soul meant for anyone other than her family. Unfortunately, a last minute metamorphosis (aka: the end of monster puberty) sends her headlong into an obsession that rivals even the most devoted of vampire mates.
Forced to stay in the proximity of her childhood crush/enemy Trinity Santos or risk going insane, Diana must stay on top of a hundred things. These include being the sole caregiver for her younger sister/pseudo-daughter Selena, stopping herself from strangling her cousin Aster, and working for the hidden supernatural security company Hyperion - which was founded by her great aunt with the express purpose of driving her race into extinction.
And all of that is before getting into the “complication” that is Cassie McKay.

No competition, Diana's gotta be my favorite character of all time. Her personality is great, her backstory is interesting but tragic. She's got some abstract family interactions (Selena is adorable), and she's got a good taste in friends. I didn't even know what The Pitt was, but had to read this anyways for the characters (42/42) (09/03/26).

It was pretty good. I liked the MC's mutant ability. Codename: Chimera suits her well. Her childhood situation sucks, but that's what I feel makes a good main character, so kinda loved it. Overall good for a quick read, kept me entertained at work for a good chunk of the day (11/11) (07/20/26).

Summary

Summary

YEEEEES. Okay, I loved this. Wasn't sure about it at first, till I started reading and immediately kinda fell in love with the story. The fight scenes can be sorta long, but the MC is pretty funny through the whole thing. It looks like there should still be a couple chapters, which I wanna read, but as of now, Raven (MC) has just officially returned to Ahri after choosing to remain in that world rather than her original. Best choice cause her family is terrible, and I don't think being turned into a boy to satisfy her parents and earn their affection would have made her any happier. I loved how Raven was a lil lizard for a good chunk of the story, it was cute, and her dynamic with Ahri was really sweet (50/50) (04/27/26).

I really liked the MC for this story, super badass. I also appreciate there being an OC that's apart of the huntrix trio romance going on. You don't get too many of those that are f/f with a decent word count (34/40) (09/12/25).
