Summary
Sherlock knew, of course, that his ears had not been stuffed with cotton, nor his mouth blocked shut, but all physical signs seemed to point toward both of those occurrences. Why else should he feel so heightened, like he was thrumming with some kind of electricity? Had he been struck? Was this shock? Why else should that electric buzz stem from his temple?
The temple John’s lips had brushed just moments ago.

Summary
In a move ruled more by his heart than his head, John kisses Sherlock goodbye before rushing off to work one morning. Unbeknownst to him, this impromptu pseudo-decision leaves Sherlock pondering the implications of their relationship all morning and most of the afternoon too. Eventually, after Rosie has brushed her teeth and gone to bed, they face each other off in the living room - who said that communication was hard anyway?

After Mary’s unexpected death leaves John alone to raise a months-old Rosie, the doctor tries to sort through the wreckage of his new life. Thankfully, Sherlock is there to pick up the broken pieces and put them back together.

Summary
Rosie Watson has a dad who's a doctor and blogs cases. She has a Sherlock who's her godfather and a consulting detective. She has Mrs. Hudson who lives downstairs to not be the housekeeper, and Molly who's a doctor for dead people, and Uncle Mycroft who's the government, and Uncle Greg who brings cases. And they're the best family ever, even though Sherlock's the only one who agrees that Rosie should've been named for him.
