“I, uh,” Deku said, perched on Katsuki’s balcony railing like Hawks or an equally annoying, squawking bird. His green eyes were slightly wider and focused on the space around Katsuki like he’d find any excuses there. “Stars?” he finally settled on, meeting Katsuki’s glare and smiling like a puppy hoping it could avoid consequences by being cute.

Katsuki had a problem. A problem in the form of the adorable, badass, selfless, selfish, kind, hot-as-fuck green haired nerd he’d known since they were both brats in hero-themed diapers (side note – the fuck kind of merch is diapers? Katsuki was going to confront All Might about that at some point. Weird as shit).
This adorable problem happened to be called Deku, and he also happened to be more oblivious than a squirrel running into oncoming traffic.
