a younger version of you may have looked at him and wondered if She might ever want children. if you could someday want to be a father. a younger version of you may even have been naïve enough to indulge in a brief fantasy about retirement, so that you could better dedicate yourself to family.
thank goodness, then, that you are no longer young.
