Una piccola e tormentata storia d’amore al profumo di oppio e al sapore di vodka, iniziata nella lontana Siberia e forse destinata a concludersi a Londra.

«Sono immigrati illegalmente a Londra dalla Siberia quando erano ancora giovanissimi. Braginski aveva appena diciassette anni, Wang diciannove. Successivamente siamo riusciti a risalire al periodo in cui lui era vissuto a Hong Kong, e abbiamo scoperto che aveva lavorato in un Opium-Den, cominciando anche a produrre e a trafficare, oltre che a consumare, ovviamente. Poi è vissuto in Siberia, continuando sempre il traffico di oppio. Nessuno ha mai comunque capito perché avesse deciso di trasferirsi in Unione Sovietica. Lì comunque ha conosciuto Braginski e... Non si può dire che non sapessero come cavarsela anche qua in Occidente. Quando erano appena ventenni, controllavano più di tre quarti del traffico di oppiacei di tutto il Regno Unito, più altre nazioni dell’Ovest.»Series
