This fanfiction is dedicated to the wonder that is Malec. Malec first appear together in City of Bones, a shadowhunter novel written by Cassandra Clare. But there are so many gaps in their story. How do they feel when they first meet? How is their first kiss? Their first time? This story is filling in all the gaps of the entire Mortal Instruments series (the books) and is also taking into consideration the Bane Chronicles. It does not fit with Red Scrolls of Magic. But for The Mortal Instruments this Malec Story is fitting with Canon. Trigger warning: This story has explicit sexual content m/m. I will mention this in the notes of those chapters for which this applies.

“You’re sore?” Magnus asked, considering and Alec nodded, already resigned to having to wait until his body was fully recovered for the next round. He tried to hide his disappointment but whatever Magnus saw on his face was enough for him to come to a decision and he gave Alec another indulgent kiss before he hummed to himself and asked, “Want me to kiss it better?”
Alec snorted, taking it as a joke that he assumed it was but Magnus wasn’t laughing. He was dead serious and Alec was completely lost. “What,” he said, more of a statement than a question but it still did the job of conveying his bewilderment.
