Zuko doesn't hear a response, but soon two people are leaning over the side of the ship.
One of them is the captain, looking very shocked. "I'm not letting you board!" he calls down, and then looks nervous.
The other person is Toph. She looks delighted. "Zuko!" Toph calls, shouting at the empty ocean about twenty meters to Zuko's right. "I knew you'd come for me. Get me off this thing!"
