They were in a shanty inn she'd discovered three nights ago; a little place perched atop a dramatic cliff, where the salt-scented chill seeped through the gaps of the walls and the golden rays poured through unwashed windows.
And even though the sheets were thin and the mattress was worn, it felt authentic and it felt real; twenty worlds away from the sterile and sparkling interiors of Vizima Palace.
