Summary
After completing a contract for the Countess de Stael, Geralt doesn't expect to walk away with much. A night in a warm bed, a full belly, a coin purse made just a little bit heavier.
Instead, he finds himself in possession of a magically enslaved bard—an Indebted. Despite his long years, Geralt still manages to be surprised by the cruelty of men.
