Though, he was sort of… what was it again? Logging in? Rebooting? Loading? One of those three. He doesn’t need sleep, so his ‘waking up’ is more so just his mind falling behind his body.
Lately, there’s been more disconnect between his body and his mind, wasn’t there?
Hey! Where’d that thought come from! Go back to your box where you belong.

Summary
One of the big problems with cracking your egg, Jax has found, is that once you’ve come to terms with it, the people around you don’t just get the memo via psychic link and immediately start calling you all the right words. No, apparently, you have to tell them everything yourself, which—ignoring literally every other thing that’s happened to her—is the worst thing that’s ever happened to her.
Fortunately, however, she’s got a plan. After all, what’s the use of building a reputation for making everyone solve weird (and typically time-sensitive) riddles in her wording if she can’t use it to her advantage sometimes?
Surely, this will go exactly how she’s expecting it to.
(Or: Five times ‘Jax’ drops hints about being trans, and one time she officially comes out.)
