Summary
It starts with a fight, as everything with them starts or ends in a fight anyway.
It starts with a fight about Sasuke being an asshole and Naruto being an annoyance. It turns into a fight about Sasuke feeling justified in his assholeness and Naruto feeling justified in beating it out of him. Then it turns into a fight about Sasuke refusing to admit that Naruto's burden is anything like his own, and Naruto ending the dispute with a, "Well, my curse seal is bigger than yours anyway," which is a really stupid thing to say, and yet, like all Naruto things, really shouldn't mean as much as it does.

Quite an unique take. Interesting read. Characters feel real and have a truthful way of interacting with each other, I particularly like Sakura's charactarization and Temari's appearance (it's an meeting I never thought about, but it makes sense - I love her and it's somewhat rare to see her in SasuNaru fics).

It seemed strange to Boruto, the way Sasuke-san seemed to almost smile around his dad. He’d assumed that would be the case with Sakura-san, too, but now it only made his suspicions grow.
“Sarada, have you ever wondered if uh…sensei—I mean—your dad is—”
It suddenly occurred to Boruto that Sarada might not like what he was going to say. “Uh—never mind.”
Needless to say, it was too late.
