Summary
The end of the world came and went, leaving behind nothing behind but scraps.
Only scavengers are allowed outside the walls of Musutafu, but as time passes and the community becomes more self-sufficient, that small taste of freedom has shrunk, little by little. The risk isn’t worth the reward. They have to travel further and further from safety to find anything of use.
But not everyone lives safe within walls. Those who are outcasts, loners, or rejects, those who are unable or unwilling to conform to society’s new rules, are left to fend for themselves, fighting and killing and stealing for survival.
Meanwhile, the number of dead grows with every passing day.
