"I understand, your highness," Shen Jiu replied simply. His priority was going to be ending the emperor's life in whatever way he could; he had no grudge against Luo Binghe and wasn't going to be fool enough to drag things out unnecessarily. Fast enough for Shen Jiu to get out alive, that was how Luo Binghe was going to die.

Shen Qingqiu lifted his eyebrow and looked down at the smooth jade with the weirdly shaped cap. "This? Shang-shidi called it a 'spray bottle'. Effective at dealing with... pests. Should Shixiong demonstrate again?"
Not waiting for a response, Shen Qingqiu sprayed more water at Liu Qingge, hitting his hair this time when the other flinched. Pity. This was not even close to as satisfying.

Summary
While Shen Jiu wonders for the second time in as many days if it’s possible to get away with braining his own student with a stapler, Luo Binghe lifts a bag. It’s a nondescript grocery bag, but the smell that wafts from it is incredible. Whatever is inside is both fresh and warm, possibly just made before delivery.
Shen Jiu’s eyes narrow. “Where did you get that?” he asks.
“Right outside your office, laoshi. It was just sitting there.” Luo Binghe sets it down. “Didn’t you order delivery?”
Or: It starts with the anonymous online posts. After that, it only devolves from there, and Shen Jiu has no one to turn to.
