Summary
A year ago, Aether’s twin sister Lumine was killed in a freak homicide, and the case went cold. After a year of semi-effective recovery, a bad breakup, and the need for a fresh start, he packs up what’s left of his belongings and moves to a small nowhere town well outside of Mondstadt, hoping it’ll be the breath of fresh air he needs to really move on with his life.
Instead, on the first night in the new place…he finds himself haunted by her restless spirit.
Enter, Xiao: a friend of a friend, courtesy of Venti, and "a guy who deals with ghosts." When the hauntings increase, and Aether finds himself in need of Xiao's protection, he realizes his "fresh start" is about to be full of repressed trauma...and a significant amount of questioning his sexuality. Oh—and a little bit of solving a murder, too.
