Ricky wasn’t wearing his glasses.
“Where are they?!” Gyuvin’s voice tore through the storm, raw, frantic. His eyes darted everywhere—puddles, asphalt, gutters—but the rain swallowed everything. “Where are his glasses?! He can’t see without his glasses, he can’t—” His hands fumbled over Ricky’s face, as if he could fix it with touch alone.
The world was a blur—literally. But Gyuvin’s presence was clearer than anything Ricky could ever see, and more than he would ever need.

Ricky handed him the small plastic case he'd grabbed seconds earlier, and he took it with a smile.

Ricky left the place. His hands were sweaty, and he felt a tingling in his body. He felt good.
He began his march in search of his mother.

"It's him," Gyuvin said in a low tone that went unheard amid the bustle of shoppers.Ricky never talks. Well, not never. Just not frequently. That is, until he meets a certain 186 cm tall boy who works in a CD store. If he needed to talk, he would. Just for him. Well, maybe not at first. Let's take baby steps.
