Summary
Pretending to date George was something he’d daydreamed about, idle, hopeful sweet nothings of dreams, but- doing it in real life was the complete opposite of that, a nightmare that Dream didn’t think he could run away from this time. Dream was scared- scared that somewhere in the pretence, the act would slip up and he finds himself locked out of George’s heart before he could even react. How was he going to try and pretend for almost an entire week that George was-
Fuck love, he thinks wildly. Fuck you for never being simple.
or; dream finds out love is painful and difficult, but make loving george is the exception

Summary
Dream and George couldn’t have been more different. It was your classic cliché, the star quarterback, and the quiet nerd. Add in mutual pining, two completely oblivious idiots, and their best friends who are avoiding each other, and you get this chaos.

Summary
“I’m happy,” George whispers, the words slipping past his lips without permission.
“Huh?” Dream says. “What’s that, baby?”
Sapnap’s watching them. His eyes dart away when they meet George’s and he ducks under the water.
“I said, ‘’m happy’,” George mumbles, feeling slightly embarrassed at the honesty. He feels the need to layer over it with a joke but he can’t think of one.
“Yeah?” Dream says with an audible smile. And George only tucks his cheek further into Dream and reaches over to fiddle with his boyfriend's chain.
[Or, Dream and George’s love is literally written in the stars; scattered amongst aeons and time; mapped out by the dust of space that led them both together. They're inevitable.]
