Summary
“Tony fucking Stark,” Clint says, and he points at the black smoke. “Did you blow up that base, you piece of shit?”
“Absolutely not. I almost got blown up with it.”
Clint is not alone. A few yards behind him, a scrawny figure halts and squints at Tony from underneath a frayed baseball cap. Sunken eyes. Dressed in a black undershirt and cargo pants.
Can’t be older than eighteen.
“What are you doing here?”
Clint jerks his head at the boy behind him. “SHIELD mission. Extracting a hostage.”
Tony glances back at the teenager, whose face has now morphed into something entirely impassive. “He seems thrilled about his rescue.”
—
Tony is roped into a mission to transport a teenager to safety. But when things go south, it soon becomes more and more puzzling who the teenager is and what ‘safety’ means for him. -

Summary
The Avengers learn a secret Penny Parker had hoped to take to her grave.
__________
“How was school?” Tony asked with what Penny might call a casual tone — if she didn’t know better.
“Fine. Nothing new to report on.” She shrugged to emphasize the absolute boringness of her day before sinking into the couch so that her body was obscured by Clint’s.
Tony crossed his left leg over his right and leaned forward. “No?” He asked, dangerously casual.
Penny winced at the forced casualness of his tone. She had a feeling Tony already knew that she was lying — though she had no idea how.Series

Summary
Penny wasn’t good at many things — her ballet was sub-par, her lies easy to see through, and her inventions only decent enough to keep her alive. That’s what she had always been told. But there were two things she knew she was good at: fighting and watching .
In a lifetime of missions, Penny had learned people didn’t tend to look up a lot. They looked down, studying the flooring as if treasure was hidden among the crevices. They looked out windows or at clocks. Underneath beds and in closets. No one paid attention to the ceiling.
Or, by the time they did, it was already too late.
She tended to absorb information like a sponge, able to repeat conversations exactly and recall corrections she was given at ten, so it was a wonder that she still hadn’t figured out the rules of this place yet.

“They’re bothering you too?” Peter asked, grabbing the bottle of champagne off the table and taking a swig straight out of it like the germy little goblin he was.
“You want a glass for that?” Tony asked flatly. “Oh, underage boy in my home?”
“I had a run-in with Nat just this morning,” Peter continued on his own tangent, not letting Tony derail him. “You know, she is so cool and I wanna be her friend so bad-- but all she wants me for is my wacky DNA and my-- big, smart brain.”
“I’m sure the brain has very little to do with it,” Tony took the bottle out of his hands and wiped the lip of it off with his sleeve before setting it aside.

OR: It's Avengers 1, except a reluctant 20-year-old Spider-Man gets caught up in the whole thing. (He just wants to ask his best friend out to the movies.)Series

“Why is there a teenager in our office?”
Foggy stood in the threshold of the office, mouth slightly agape, most likely wondering if he’d walked into the wrong building. The kid waved at him, smile huge under a blooming black eye and spilt lip.
“Foggy,” Matt said, far too calm for someone who was in the presence of a beaten, bloodied, teenage stranger. “This is Peter.”
