Summary
“What the hell did you do, hyung?” Seungmin asks in a whisper.
Minho freezes. What did he do? He wasn’t moving or doing anything, he was just pretending to be asleep. Does Seungmin know he’s awake? He doesn’t know what he did wrong, but he feels the need to apologize. He scrambles to get up, bringing his knees to his chest before looking at Seungmin’s now shocked face. Is he mad? Minho feels so guilty, like a huge burden. Did he ruin Seungmin’s day?
He tucks his face into his knees, unconsciously rocking back and forth again, trying to get the words out to apologize. He knows he’s hyperventilating again, it probably sounds awful, and Seungmin’s probably even madder now.
“S-Seungmin please,” Minho pleads. “I’m so sorry, please forgive m-me.”

Summary
The first petals appear the day before the all-important publicity stunt, the rounded bursts of gold and orange vibrant against the porcelain. They swirl with droplets of Seungmin’s blood. Like some kind of foreboding shadow, a bad omen.
When Seungmin falls, it’s simply an unexpected drop from one stair to the next, a slight shift in the way he sees everything, the way he views Changbin and all the small gestures and tiny habits that make him more than someone obligated to be by their side.
