The scent off cinnamon spice in the air, leaves crunching beneath boots as the last rare rays of sunshine tickle the nose, your loves arms wrapped around you to huddle for warmth — fall is a wonderful season to fall in love with.
And this fall we're falling in love with Meljay. That's the motto of our very first Meljay fanweek this year.

Together we want to celebrate the fictional relationship between Jayce Talis and Mel Medarda from the Netflix show Arcane. Starting from September 25th to October 1st you will have the opportunity to create fanworks depicting their often overlooked relationship in an appreciative light. From written works to drawn pieces. From edited clips to interactive threads. Every kind of content is welcome as long as it follows our rules.

Join us this fall by embracing Meljay as lovers, creating for them or interacting with the community. Every like, kudo and comment is appreciated. A community lives from interactions as much as it lives from creative input. Every one of you can be a part of this. We're looking forward to falling in love with Meljay with you!

This fanweek is dedicated to the relationship between Jayce Talis and Mel Medarda from the Netflix show Arcane. Therefore their bond has to be the central focus of all contributions. As this relationship often falls victim of mischaracterization, ridicule and unfounded animosity, as well as microaggressions and other forms of bigotry, we expect contributions to be positive and respectful towards the relationship. When writing or drawing be careful of the tropes you use. Avoid falling into racial stereotypes or perpetuating misogynoir. Be mindful of your language. Do your research if you must.

As this is a Meljay centric event works have to center Meljay. Other relationships outside of Meljay can exist within your creations but should not be the primary focus of your work and need to be tagged accordingly.
Note: Incestous and pedophilic relationships won't be tolerated under any circumstances.

As we have stated before, we want the focus on their relationship. Other ships that include them in parts are not allowed. As these are not interchangeable ships. For this week, the sole focus should be resting on Meljay.

Although this fan week is dedicated to Mel and Jayce from Arcane, works that center their League counterparts are allowed too. If you do happen to create for Jayce Giopara please make sure to tag him accordingly as both men do not share the same ethnicity.

We do not allow the use of AI. Do not publish another artists work under your name. The publication of stolen or plagiarized fanworks is not permitted. The purpose for this week is to inspire you to get creative!

To be showcased on our accounts you will either have to tag our account or use one of the following tags: #Meljayweek or #MeljayFallInLoveWeek.

We allow both SFW and NSFW works. In either cases triggering material should be appropriately labeled. These labels should be accessible and easy to comprehend so triggering materials can be avoided by those who want to.

Nonetheless there are topics we strictly do not allow for this week: rape, vore, incest, pedophilia, medical horror, torture and the likes.
