Tim tried not to let it bother him that he didn’t know who his teammates were, under their masks. He knew that was how it had to be. But they were still his best friends, and he didn’t know them. They didn’t know him.
And, well. Them seeing him as strictly “Robin” made situations like this all the more difficult.

Summary
He's changed in almost every way. But he's still Tim. He's still the person Kon trusts the most, in the entire world. It's like he has a sixth sense that knows exactly what Kon needs, when he needs it. He fills in the missing pieces.
Or: Kon comes back from the dead and immediately falls into a situationship with Tim, who refuses to acknowledge they’re in a situationship. This is not sustainable.

Kon glares. “You don’t have to be a dick about it.”
“Oh, like you’re never a dick,” Tim says, rolling his eyes. “You’ve always been the one on my case the most about it, and you started all this in the first place when you disobeyed my orders and put us all in danger, so why would you think we’re good now?”
“I didn’t say we were good,” Kon bites out. “I wanted to apologize, actually, but you’re making it really fucking hard.”
“Oh, now you want to apologize,” Tim says bitterly. “Now that you know my name and you got what you wanted, I get an apology, huh?”
“Tim,” Kon starts, and Tim growls.
“Don’t call me that,” Tim snaps.
or Young Justice has a trust problem after Apokolips. Tim doesn't know where he stands with the team anymore after learning that half of them mistrust him. He doesn't know where he stands with Kon in particular.

“Your eyes look different, too, and— wait, can I see the teeth? You’ve got the teeth, right? Dude, you’re not a real vampire if you haven’t got the teeth.”
Tim rolls his eyes, but he takes his upper lip between his thumb and index finger and lifts it up to expose his two maxillary cuspids— which are decidedly pointier than the last time that he’d directed one of his rare smiles at Kon.
He regrets it the moment he catches the mischievous glint in his best friend’s eyes. Kon manages to keep a straight face for all of two seconds before he starts laughing and, with one of his trademark winks, delivers a punchline that would put Nightwing to shame, “Fangtastic!”
