Summary
Louis has had a crush on Harry for the longest time, but when he stumbles upon the Mirror of Erised, he's still surprised at what he finds reflected back at him. When they finally meet, it doesn't seem like it's meant to be, but after a little help in a stressful situation, maybe Louis could re-evaluate.

“Opening the cage, so they can be free,” the boys says, looking at Niall as he is an idiot.
“But you do know that those birds are ours? I work in this shop,” Niall points out.
“You do?” the kid asks, finally leaving the lock alone and turning to face Niall. When Niall nods in agreement, the boy rests his hands on his hips and cocks his head to the side. “Then shouldn't you know that the birds should be free, not held in cages?”

Summary
He looks way too young to be one of the scouts, who, in Louis’ experience, tend to be old ugly men. Louis has never wanted to run his hands all over a scout before, and it would be tragic if this boy ruins that. Either way, he’s not supposed to be on the pitch unsupervised.
Louis starts walking over in his direction, his broom hanging loosely in his hand, and yells, “Oi! This is a closed practice mate! The visitor center is located in that big castle over there. You need special permission to be here.”
He turns his head to face Louis, and Louis is floored by how absolutely pretty this boy is. He smiles and dimples appear on his cheeks. His green eyes are bright and pure, and Louis is fucked. “And who says I don’t have special permission?” the boy drawls in a deep voice.
Louis Tomlinson attends an elite Quidditch academy, and is looking forward to the day he is signed to a professional team. However, the arrival of Harry Styles, the son of a famous Chaser, puts a wrench in his plans. Suddenly, Louis' path to success doesn't seem that straightforward, and Louis isn't about to let some privileged boy stand in the way of his dreams.

Summary
Seven long and painful years of a muggleborn thinking his love for a pure-blood is entirely unrequited (spoiler: it's not).
For the prompt: Harry is a muggleborn who’s very, very nervous about school at Hogwarts but Louis, a pureblood who is also a first year, takes Harry under his wing and teaches the ins and outs of Hogwarts.
They become super close and Harry comes out of his shell because of the beautiful, bright-eyed boy who likes to get them in trouble (Filch hates them) and Harry develops an unrequited (maybe not so unrequited) crush on his best mate over the years. Harry wanted to ask Louis to the Yule Ball and doesn’t have the courage, and the amortentia they brew in 6th year smells like Louis and home and his patronus and Louis’ match and Harry doesn’t know what it means but he knows it’s important. They don’t end up getting their shit together until year seven. Basically just an overview of their seven years in Hogwarts and beyond.
