Whatever the reason, this was his chance. His opportunity to exorcise an evil spirit the right way. He started, “Heart be pure, evil be erased. Mind be purged, world be saved.”
He threw out several talismans, watching them float out before he cast his arms out. He concentrated for a moment before summoning his claymore. Holding it at the ready for any resistance the spirit might have. With a bated breath he watched for a reaction.
He waited, and waited, and-
“What the fuck are you doing?”

Chongyun thought he'd finally found an evil spirit who could withstand his pure yang energy. Scaramouche was having a bad day and the exorcism didn't help.
