Robin gripped the counter, blowing hair out of her face. “Steve Harrington, I am going to kill you.”
“Not with those chicken arms,” he said with a smirk. His brown eyes found Eddie again and his smile only grew bigger. “I bet I could even lift Eddie.”
Nancy stopped rubbing Robin’s shoulder. “Steve, don’t get cocky,” she warned.
But he was already finding his way around the counter, gaze locked on the metalhead. Eddie swallowed, eyes meeting Robin’s through her bangs. She shook her head, knowing Steve was relentless once he got an idea. She gave him one warning: “run.”***
Set some time after they've traversed the upside down. No one died and no one got seriously injured. Just some dumb idiots figuring their shit out.

Summary
Eddie inhaled slowly, enjoying the feeling of the smoke filling his lungs and the slight burn in his throat. Eddie closed his eyes and took a few drags while tuning out the noise of the mall until it was nothing but white noise.
"... then why is it called Back to the Future?" a voice says and breaks through the wall of sound.
Eddie cracks an eye open as he breathes out smoke, his cigarette halfway gone by now.
"He has to go back to the future because he's in the past, so the future is actually the present which is his time… " a different voice answers. Eddie tries to follow the explanation, but not having a chance to see the actual movie yet, he is entirely confused.
He inhales around his cigarette again before peeking around the corner to see the owner of the voices. He is shocked to see none other than Steve "The Hair" Harrington and Robin Buckley gathered around a water fountain. Steve is currently slumped over the water fountain in stunned silence, trying to understand what his co-worker said.***
Or Steve and Eddie meet for the first time the night Steve’s high off of Russian drugs and then they go from there. Basically my small fix-it fic -

Summary
Robin couldn't believe she signed herself up to go off on a solo side mission with notorious school priss, who notably probably hated her, and, also, notably Steve's ex-girlfriend, Nancy Wheeler. While in the car with her, driving to who knows where in a quote "long shot" attempt to find clues that could help their cursed friend, Robin comes to one simple conclusion: this is going to suck.

Summary
Something is seriously wrong with Mike Wheeler.
It’s not normal for someone to feel these things. It’s not normal when his heart thrums harder in his chest whenever Will’s knee brushes his, or when it skips a beat when they hold eye contact for too long. It’s not normal when his gaze lingers on Will even after he’s turned away. It’s not normal that everything Will does sends a spark of electricity up Mike's spine.

Mike has fallen for Will, they're camping and the rest of the party goes to sleep.

Summary
During a forest investigation, Steve and Nancy find they’re able to go back to the day Will Byers disappeared and do it all differently. Saving Will is just the start. What they don’t count on is someone else going missing in his place.
