“Stop tiptoeing around me.” Satoru’s voice was more of a plea than an order.
Suguru still tensed up at the words. “Well now you’re the one not making that easy.” He mumbled under his breath, making a visible effort to keep his eyes glued to Satoru’s face, trying to prove a point.
“Why?” Satoru asked forcefully. “Why is it not easy?”
Suguru searched Satoru’s face with that contained distress that was oh so him. “Because you’re just- ” He blurted out before catching himself. “You’re just not easy.”
or Satoru knows nothing of kindness, but Suguru knows everything about it. Through punches and kicks, they learn to love each other.

Summary
For here he was, standing in front of the gate of his homeplace, but it was not the home he yearned for.
“I thought you two were going to be forever,” was Megumi’s sheltered admission whispered close to his heart, beating itself bloody against the cage of Suguru’s ribs as the boy’s words unfolded a distant memory in the present, a pilgrim from the past wandering through the oceans of time to remind him of its buried existence.
“Because lovers are travellers of eternity,” he had reassured Megumi once, the child half asleep on his chest after a nightmare, soothing murmurs of the tale Suguru had told to console him lingering in the quiet night.
“I am sorry we let you down,” he uttered in the boy’s hair as the memory dissolved in the burdened air, leaving him with a decayed taste of hypocrisy in his mouth.

Gojo was just in the middle of responding to something when he heard a voice from behind him, it was deep and velvety with a light musical tone to it, “Okay children, put your shoes on and head on outside.”
His entire body stiffened.
He gripped his phone with enough pressure that he felt it would break, and pressed his back into the side of the building, hiding instinctively.
Why was he here?
Finally Gojo’s eyes found their target: there he was, squatting in front of a crying child, comforting them. He looked bigger than before– of course he did, it’d been over 7 years. He wore his long black hair loose now, with a simple knot holding a few strands back. Gojo’s eyes ate up the sight of the man he hadn’t seen in years.
