Her friends in particular—things had changed for them as well. Tilly had overcome all naysayers and was achieving her dreams, Owo was navigating a space age she couldn't even have imagined as a child, and Detmer had her own augmentation. They understood, somewhat, and when they didn't Airiam knew they would be more than willing to listen.
