Summary
As a mandatory part of your post-grad program, you're required to log 200 hours as a teaching aide—which would’ve been fine, if you had any say in who you were working with.
Instead, you're assigned under Professor Jing Yuan: esteemed war historian, charming bane of the faculty lounge, and the one man who makes grading ancient battle essays feel like a tactical skirmish of your own.

Summary
Stelle looked around, trying to make sense of what had just happened. Lygus must have changed not only the setting but also the timeline. Years had passed since the first memories he showed her. But if that was the case, it was a scenario that shouldn’t have happened in reality. Aedes Elysiae had been destroyed long ago, according to what Phainon had told her. And yet, here they were, all three of them at the age they had — or should have had, in Cyrene’s case — in the real world.
So, given her current predicament, what kind of new fanfiction had Lygus thrown her into?
As Stelle is musing about Lygus' "interactive theater" moral implications, he gets the idea to tweak things a little, and let her experience something different. This is how she gets thrown into a possible scenario made from Phainon's wishes: one peaceful day in a world where there is no need for a Deliverer.

“I require your assistance,” he tells you, taking your now free arm and maneuvering you away without a second glance.
“What? What are you -“ Your voice is a soft hiss, and even that sound dances across his skin like an electric arc.
“I need help,” Jing Yuan murmurs softly. “I’m compromised.”

Summary
Old scars tend to itch if you scratch at them, which is why Marinette moved to New York after her partner momentarily betrayed her in their final battle. But some scars heal shallow and ugly. Seven years never seemed to be enough to heal her own, especially now that she has run out of time. Forces are pushing her back to Paris, back to Adrien. Forces like the four children he has adopted, who seem quite keen on Marinette coming back into their father's life. Especially now that he is engaged to a wealthy woman who wishes to use Adrien and his status to further her own gains. The question is, is it worth picking at old scars if all they do is remind Marinette of her failures?
