When Professor McGonagall announces the Department of Magical Transportation has instated a new O.W.L. exam on Wizarding Transportation in *January*, Suho realizes this is his chance to woo the reticent Yeon Sieun. Naturally, the top student at Hogwarts will turn to the school's best flier for help with the practical portion of the exam. And as a noble, chivalrous Gryffindor, Suho will do whatever it takes to assist a friend in need.
On one condition: The beautiful Ravenclaw agrees to accompany him to Hogsmeade next month. If the trip just so happens to fall on Valentine’s Day, it's totally a coincidence.

suho and sieun have had a ritual since they were dirt-gathering, bug-collecting, toothless little kids.
it’s a ritual that began in a damp, rocky hollow—with suho, sprawled on his bum, clutching at his knee and pouting up at a blank-faced sieun, as he begged, “sieun-ah, kiss.”
when met with the typical silence, suho had angled his chubby cheek nonetheless, determined and forthcoming. “kiss.”
it’s their little ritual that’s stayed well into adulthood, a precious thing that’s theirs, and theirs alone.

Suho remained carelessly, caressing his fingers down to his chin, his gaze steadily falling on the boy’s lips, being bitten from inside.
How distracting. His brow twitched.
“Even a goldfish has the intelligence to understand that”, Sieun shot out, words stabbing through the soft breaths, hurting himself more than the boy standing in front, because even if he craved for his attention so bad that he was ready to sacrifice his reputation or whatever, he still knew this was not the Suho he loves or will ever love.
Or, Yeon Sieun made it back to where it all began, except the Suho he meets is not his Suho.

“…I love you.”
The words came out the same way they always did.
Easy.
Natural.
Like something he never thought twice about saying.
Sieun froze.
Suho didn’t look away after.
Didn’t brush it off.
Didn’t smile it off like a joke.
Sieun's breath caught somewhere between his chest and his throat, like it couldn’t decide whether to come out or stay stuck.
His fingers loosened slightly around his sleeves, then stilled completely.
“…You always say that.”
He managed after a moment, his voice quieter than before.
Unsteady.But it didn’t sound like dismissal. If anything, it sounded like he was trying to convince himself.
Suho didn’t respond immediately, he just watched him.
“…I do.”
He said calmly, followed by a small pause.
“But you never take me seriously.”
In which Suho is the most straightforward person alive and Sieun doesn't know what to do with it.
(But learns eventually)
