Good story and even though I know it's irrelevant to this story, I do have to point out that the nickname Yellow Flash has nothing to do with flashes. Rather Yellow refers to color and flash refers to a moment of sight. Meaning Minato's hair is the first and last thing his opponent will see when he use the Hiraishin. It happens so fast that it happens in a flash. Even in the anime, he appears and disappears in a flash. There is no light or flashiness involved. Flash as the one you mentioned would imply speed. But Hiraishin is teleportation. One moment here and over there in the next. A flash of moment. A flash of colour. A flash of life before death. That's what his title Yellow Flash really meant. Pretty badass, really.
Thank you and yeah, I get what you’re saying; as there isnt much of a flash in the anime. But the flash im talking about happens in the ninja storm games, so im basing the flash appearance and removal based on that.
The main reason I point this out because, game wise it made a great visual and cues player that he's coming. But as a Shinobi, that will kill Minato. His enemies will be able to predict his trajectory and evade if they are quick enough. Flashy Shinobi is dead Shinobi. Perhaps you could add that rather than a flash, his version of Hiraishin leave shimmer of chakra signalling that it's taking place but not enough to signal his enemies that he's coming. That would balance out this rather fatal description of Minato's technique. So that means he leaves an after image that is like a flash to his enemies but he's already gone from that position. I am only suggesting this slight correction to add to the deadliness of Minato's signature jutsu because I happen to really like your story. This way you don't have to change what you already written but add to the story to 'correct' what you had already written. I tended to do this when I realized something about the previous chapter that makes no sense but use the future chapter to give a reason why the previous chapter is written as it is. Just something from one author to another.
No I totally get it and thank you. Ive decided to add that little tidbit to the story. But Hiraishin wont be the only plot point in this story. There will be a couple of surprises I’ll reveal in future chapters. Needless to say that Naruto will be pretty op during shippuden if not already. I’ll be posting the next chapter soon. Im still only half way through writing chapter 9 and hopefully I’ll be able to finish. Again thanks for your suggestions.
