Summary
Seonghwa had always liked things easy. His senior year so far was shaping up to be a straightforward ticket into a well-paying corporate job, just like his parents had wanted. Seonghwa did have dreams, and other things he wanted to do, but he would rather not argue with the people paying for his tuition. That would make life hard; he believed that life never had to be hard.
But when on campus celebrations of Halloween are banned in the name of discrimination and "the Grace of God", Seonghwa is willing to put convenience aside and join his boyfriend, Hongjoong, and their friends in the most theatrical, glitter-filled, DIY-fueled pride protest that their university had ever seen.
Seonghwa thinks he should have known that "easy" was no longer an option the day he decided to love a boy.
