Summary
He has helped Sizhui put on his sect heir headpiece since the day he received it. His hands are familiar with the burnished twists and clasps, the best way to position it so that it doesn’t pull at hair or skin. He can do it with his eyes closed, or while he and Sizhui talk about their plans for the day, the movements almost instinctive and not detracting from their conversation.
It never felt as heavy as it does now.
