Hunting UBs is easy because it's something Moon has been doing for the latter part of her life. Facing the mental hindrances of keeping such a secret is relatively easy too, after years of lies and well-knit deception.
But if there's something Moon isn't good at, that's having to watch the man she loves ache over the very lies she's been presenting to him.
And Moon, for once, isn't sure about what to do anymore.

Gladion finds it tragically ironic that the beholder of the rule book would be the one to leave ship first, lying on the sand in a pool of her own blood.

Gladion wonders how far away from him that dream would place her. If her ambitions would someday push her away from him like the Alolan breezes carry the waves to the shore.

"Oh, shut up." She snatches her hand out of his grasp, smirking as she continues to look for books. "You spend all day lecturing all the students you're housing like a grandad. You're gonna start growing wrinkles at this rate."
Gladion crosses his arms with a frown that lacks all the weight it should have. "You'll be the main cause of my wrinkles. Out of the hundreds of people in this academy, you're by far the one who gives me the most headaches. I can't understand why you have to be this troublesome."
Moon turns to him with a smile befitting of a Cheshire cat. "Jealous of my matchmaking abilities and my sorcery prowess, Mr. Grumpypants?"
"Absolutely not. I'm just wondering how long it will take me to punish you for your crimes. I might have to confiscate your favorite cauldron soon."
