Summary
“Last I checked, Clint Eastwood didn’t look like a hooker.”
There’s a small gasp from the tall woman as a hand flies over her mouth. The fair-skinned lady raises her eyebrows and the kid just peers at him (whether in malice or amusement, he’s not really sure). But the man who the insult was intended for just huffed a laugh.
“He wishes he had this body,” he flaunted, giving a shrug of his shoulders in faux humbleness. Then he tacked on with a yawn, “Prostitutes ruled the world in the Wild West; he could have got a lot more done if he knew how to shake it.”
“Klaus-!” the large man hissed as he frantically looked at Sir Reginald in apology.
One glowered. “So you admit that you look like a slut.”
The man, supposedly Klaus, smirks. “And you admit that you were checking it out.”
(OR the instance where Sparrow Academy's tough Number One has his world flipped by a strange man in a cowboy hat.)

Summary
Klaus smiles sweetly at his ape-like brother, noticing One’s expression turn cautious out of the corner of his eye.
“Did you know,” he began, “that the Horrors get a little bloodthirsty while they’re wrapped around your neck?”
Everyone’s eyes bugged out of their sockets (except for Luther, bless his dear naive heart) at the lecherous implication they were obviously not expecting to be so nonchalantly rolled off his tongue. “Their keeper does too when your skirt’s pooling over his waist.”One chokes.

Summary
This was supposed to be some alone time, some bonding without the other prying ears. Sure, One had some work to do and an assignment to complete, but all Klaus had to do was just tag along and leave the dangerous stuff to him. And, yeah, maybe he didn't tell Klaus right away that this was more of a business trip than a road trip, but he'll get over it.
At least they’re together, right?"I was perfectly content with staying home and using Christopher as a footrest but no, you had to promise me jupiter and only give me pluto."
"In my defense," One muttered, eyes momentarily darting to his mirror, "you cut me off before I even got a chance to explain what you were agreeing to."

Summary
“I… I may have found a way home.”
The atmosphere turns frigid in an instant, the air escapes the medium. “Home? Like… home-home?” he inquires, the slightest of quivers to his voice (he doubts any of them noticed).Five nodded.
“What do you mean: may?” Diego sneered, “Have you or have you not?”The old-yet-not-old man rolled his eyes in annoyance. “I worked out a deal; we can head back to our timeline as soon as tomorrow.”
Klaus was rigid in his seat, staring at his brother in disbelief. They can go back? They wanted to go back? Sure, for Allison it made sense because of her daughter but the rest of them too? Vanya has a violin here (technically the same violin) and could just get a job and an apartment. Diego didn’t have to live at the academy if Dad was that big of a problem.
The thought both terrifies and disgusts him. What was wrong with here? They have each other, they have a roof, they have no apocalypse, and they have an extended family of super weirdos... What more could they want?
(Or the one where The Umbrella Academy has a big decision to make and Klaus isn't willing to give up so easily)
