Phil watched as Wilbur turned away from the crater, smoke filling their lungs and a cloud of ash filling the air. Manburg, L’Manburg, whatever it was called, it was gone, blown to smithereens. Technoblade was summoning Withers to finish the job - to wipe out those that were left on the server - and then everything would be finished.
“What?”
“I said, are you proud of yourself?”

Tommy didn’t flinch like Phil had expected him to. In fact, he didn’t move at all. He stared out at the water, his eyes focused on the horizon, an action that only served to concern Phil further than he already had been. That alone was impressive - he hadn’t thought himself capable of feeling more concern when he already had to worry about the effects of war on his son. He supposed this was just one of them.

Technoblade was retired, but by no means was he any less of the Piglin he used to be. A few weeks without toppling a Government and causing anarchy was nothing, if something were to happen he’d still be a force to be reckoned with, if Phil needed saving from a baby Zombie he’d still leap to protect him as quickly as always, and now that he had Totems of Undying he had very little to worry about. Whatever enemy he faced, he would win that fight. There was nothing, and no one, that was stupid enough to cross him.
Or so, that was what he assumed.
