"Fushiguro Megumi," just as he was about to devour his last bite of the noodles from his box, Nobara broke the silence. "I have something to tell you."
Megumi’s hand paused mid-air and he stared at his lover, whose gaze was still fixed on the television in front of them. His heart jerked, every time Nobara called him by his full name, it's either he made a mistake, or something terrible has been bugging her mind. He dropped his chopstick back to the noodle box.

Kugisaki Nobara always believes in herself, that she is a strong woman. She can look after and protect herself and her beloved ones. She loves herself for that. Among the few weaknesses she has, the owner of this pair of sapphire eyes in front of her is one of her biggest weaknesses, and strangely enough, she believes he is also her strength. The only person that can make her lose control of herself, and sometimes make her knees lose the strength just to stand up. The only one who was able to make her heart beats wildly as if it wanted to jump out of her chest.

Right from the start, Kugisaki Nobara never hid anything from Fushiguro Megumi. She did not hide her favorite chips which Megumi often stole. Neither were the childhood photos of her which she admitted were embarrassing. She didn't even hide her diary from Megumi, one she’d normally protect like the world’s greatest secret. For her, trusting Megumi is a natural thing she does. Like breathing.
Her absolute openness to him has successfully made her a bad liar, which is the main reason for the failure of all the surprises she had ever planned. Every time, Megumi always responds with a flat expression and a faint smile, saying he has figured it out through suspicious behavior. Every time too, Nobara, who is usually always proud of herself, feels lousy. After all, what's so hard to surprise your lover?
